About Saint Leo University

Saint Leo University is a liberal arts, private, non-profit, Roman Catholic and co-educational university located in Saint Leo, FL, United States. In 1889, the university became the first catholic college founded in Florida with 32 enrolled students and since then it has continuously grown, currently having an enrollment estimated at a number of nearly 14,500 students. Saint Leo University is accredited to award associate and baccalaureate degrees and the Master of Business Administration, Master of Education, Master of Science, Master of Theology, and Master of Social Work degrees. The coolege is affiliated with Roman Catholic Church Holy Name Monastery and Saint Leo Abbey.

Athletics

Saint Leo University's athletic teams has nickname Saint Leo Lions which compete in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Division II, in several sports, for both men and women.
